The Truth about the ministry of Rodney Howard Browne

Do you have faith?

Rodney Howard Browne shares a teaching on Faith

Hebrews 11:1 states that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.” Faith…even though we cannot see it with our natural eyes, we know that with God ALL things can be possible.

A few years ago, I was really believing God for a new car. I had an old one, but it seemed like every other week, it had to be in the shop. It was definitely not reliable. All of my life, I have been taught to have faith. I began to stretch out my faith. When I would pray for a new car, I was very specific of what I wanted. Doesn’t He say that He knows the desires of our heart! I was on staff for a bible college at the time and was getting paid $50 a week. There would be weeks at a time, that I would place that $50 in the offering, sowing a seed for that new vehicle.

One night I was babysitting for a friend of mine. They had called and said that they were on the way home and wanted me to meet them in their garage with the kids…we were going to get some ice cream. As I stepped into the garage, they threw me keys and said…”God knows the desires of your heart. Here is a brand new car for your faithfulness. As I wiped the tears away from my eyes, I saw that the VW Jetta was exactly what I had been believing for. Not only was the color the same, but everything from the interior to the sunroof.

We need to walk in faith each day of our lives. We need to believe God for the impossible. Isn’t that the kind of God that we serve? That day, my faith was increased!

  1. That is a terrific testimony! I love that! It reminds me of the story Pastor tells of how God gave them their lst van in America. He still has it to remind him of God’s faithfulness. Probably just like Pastor you will never forget those people and probably still pray for them.

  2. What an awesome testimony of God’s goodness! The ministry is so full of people with stories of their faith working as well! You can hear for yourself. Faith in God is simply believing He will do what He said He would do!

  3. Yes, God does give us the desires of our hearts! The story of your faithfulness is so inspiring! A year before we moved to Tampa to attend church, I told a friend of my desire to move there from Texas. I saw no way possible for it to happen–but God! A year later, we had moved to Tampa!

  5. That is such an awesome story. My faith was increased just reading it. I remember a few years after my wife and I were married we were ready to buy our “first” home! When we found one, God stepped in and took over it seemed like. We ended up being blessed with all the Down money, all brand new furniture and new utilities. Our home was filled with things that we could testify about!

Pastor and the ministry staff at The River @ Tampa Bay Church have taught me so much about standing on the Word of God and believing that His promises are real and they are for me!

  6. I know a woman who has the most amazing faith for believing for others. Her prayers are answered almost before she prays. But when it comes to receiving for herself she often does without. It’s great to hear testimonies like these reminding us that the Lord wants to meet us at our point of desire too. Pastor talks about how God overtakes him in meeting his personal desires and he uses his faith for his ministry desires.

  7. I like your testimony about the new car. Thank you for sharing that with us. I was so blessed and encouraged by it. It shows how much God loves us and takes care of us.

I can have my faith build up more by his teachings and by attending his meetings. Anyone can find out when and where the next meeting. I would encourage everyone to attend some meetings, I have learned so much from his teachings on faith.

  10. Faith truly is TRUST!..It’s trusting that even though you can’t see the next step, you go anyway knowing the God will provide the next step. Faith is being able to see it, even if it hasn’t happened yet in the natural. You aren’t swayed by what you don’t have in your hand, because you know that any day now it will appear. It’s on it’s way, you have an expectany, you have no doubts or fears. You simply TRUST…..

What an awesome testimony about your car! I am believing God that mine is going to be paid off. I ama tither and a giver and I expect and trust that God knows my need and He is more than willing and able to meet it according to his riches and glory…

  11. God has really been teaching me about faith this year. I have gotten a greater revelation of faith. That you need no proof in the natural. And that everything from Genesis to revelation is supernatural…that even if all of the circumstances look contrary, you just trust and believe…be patient, stand on His Word, and then you receive. But you have to trust Him. It reminds me of Pastors Rodney and Adonica. They came to America with just $300 and believed God, know that God called them to spread revival around the USA. God came through for them; And here they are 25 years later with a worldwide ministry spreading the gospel around America and around the whole world. That’s faith!

  12. You can log on and read many testimonies of how God has provided for so many people. When you are faithful doing His work-bringing in the Lost, He will meet your needs right where you are at.
