The summer camp meeting this year was geared toward young people.  Young people came, but so did older people.  Those of us who are “young at heart” fit in well.

There was an air of expectancy that the Lord would move.  If you came expecting that God would do something in your life, He did.

The fire fell on people who needed a fresh touch from God.  Many were healed of different infirmities.  The Lord touched many who were wounded and broken hearted.  Others received direction for their lives.  Whatever the need, it was met.

People were hungry.  There were a number of nights that the service went past midnight.  It was common to still have people in the sanctuary at 2:00 AM.  It appears that most people sense the shortness of time and realize that they need to press in to the things of God so they don’t miss anything He has for them.

Soul winning for The River Bible Institute has been a weekly event that has allowed me to lead people to Jesus Christ on the streets, in the malls, and the housing projects. Many times it’s like getting born again all over again when they say the prayer with you and you feel the same exhilaration, gratitude, and love.

Children have a special place in my heart and to see those, with innocent, child like faith, receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior is like having your first born baby. The delivery went smoothly, everything was normal, and you just had a wonderful feeling that all is well.

The Love of God is the thing that impacted me the most when I received the infilling of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:5) To see others experiencing that Love for the first time or the rekindling of it for those who have backslidden brings a “joy that is unspeakable and full of glory.” (1 Peter 1:8) There’s almost a look of unbelief on some of the faces. For others you see a hopeful gleam in their eyes that maybe this is real. Then there are some that have such light and joy on their faces as they encounter the very presence of God in such a tangible way, you can see an immediate effect. From darkness to light they are born again and translated into God’s Kingdom.

One of the most exciting things is training up people who have never won anyone to the Lord, to go out and see them win their first soul to Jesus. From then on, they are on fire about sharing the unconditional Love of God to a hurting world. They step out in fear and trembling, maybe stumbling over the words at first, mustering up the belief that this is going to work. When they see how easy it is and that the person repeating the prayer is very grateful afterwards; it makes them want to make up for lost time as they zealously approach the next person.

During the Bible School Year Soul Winning can be described as one of the most unique and diverse experiences I had in my journey as a servant of God.

As a servant of the Lord I need to represent His Holy Kingdom in every action, and every step I make toward others, therefore as a Soul Winner I share the * TRUTH * and God removes the veil from their eyes. The Lord sees the motive of my heart, full of kind, compassion, love and humility willing to do whatever it takes to bring more people to the other side. The sides where they can feel secure accepted and love. The side where they feel HOPE!!!

When I go out all I need to do is simply incline my ears toward God and His Holy Spirit will work by molding and equipping me with wisdom and boldness to be a soul winner. The Lord speaks to our hearts and by His Holy Word we will be able to have a great foundation as a believer and to prepare each of us for whatever He calls us to do.

I know that working as a TEAM with my brothers and sisters in Christ (Eric Jones, Ida Cohen and Jesse R) is causing a real impact for our community around Tampa. Witnessing a few weeks ago when we visited the Hispanic area, many persons accepted the Lord in their hearts; some were delivered from diseases and bondages, even others speaking in tongues. One of the cases that really touched my heart is regarding an eleven year old boy named Miguel, who now is even leading more kids by himself to the Lord after we prayed with him. Another case is the Security Guard of the building for disable a person, whom was sick, after I pray for him laying hands declaring victory; he accepted Jesus and also felt the fire of God.

When I visited the Nursing Homes there was an incredible peace inside myself. I spent time praying and telling them about Jesus. Reading scriptures regarding healing, then the joy of the Lord was shinning on their faces. They felt LOVED!!!

What have I accomplished as a Soul Winner?

There are not enough words to express the results of OBEDIENCE. Every week, every Saturday, a new group of adults, children and seniors from any of the areas we visit, receive the blessings of our GOD (miracles, healings, new jobs, etc.) Soul winning it’s like a RAINBOW that represents the following:

BLUE = represents the LOVE of GOD planted inside each of their hearts.
YELLOW= represents the HOPE for their future. JESUS!!! GREEN= represents the new door, the TRUTH.
PINK= represents the KINDNESS, MERCY & GRACE of our Jesus forgiving their sins.
RED= represents the JOY they feel, they can’t contain it.
PURPLE= represents the INDESCRIBABLE PEACE.

S O U L S
S= Sinners accepting JESUS
O= Obedience toward God. Outstanding miracles, healings.
U= Unending mission as Christians.
L= Led always by the Holy Spirit.
S= Serving God by bringing more souls.

As a conclusion, in tears of joy, I will keep going every week inspired and led by the Holy Spirit reaching more souls!

The Sweet Presence of God and His Precious Anointing are flowing progressively with regards to my soul winning experiences. God is always ready to use me as long as I’m always ready to be used. The past 2 years have been a lot of joy and laughter for me.

In around February 2008 is when I began to latch on to the Great Awakening Tour and became involved with 6 different Florida Tours. Than in January of 2009 I traveled with the core GAT team to the West Coast for nearly 3 months, soul winning, and praying for the hurts and needs of the people was a large part of what I got to do also resulting in many healings and miracles for which I give God all of the Glory, Honor, and Praise. Many times I would notice as we were leaving the area we were soul winning at that day a special tangible Presence of The Lord’s peace would rest on the place.

In August of 2009 at 53 years of age I moved to Tampa and began attending The River Bible Institute on a Scholarship. At the start of the school year I was placed in the Outreach Department [soul winning] to do my scholarship work study hours, and I must say that there is no fame, or fortune that the world could offer that could compare with seeing God’s hand reach down and touch some one’s life and literally change and transform them, I have become much bolder and I can see the need greater than I have before.

This experience has transformed my life today and my future forever life can never be the same. I have been to 11 different cities with the Great Awakening Tour and there are so many testimonies of what the Lord has done, I have personally pray with more than 4000 people since being involved with the Great Awakening Tour and The River Bible Institute.

When I’m doing business I have opportunities to pray for sick and hurting folks and lead them to Jesus. So God is with me where ever I go, and I give Him all of the Glory, Honor, and Praise for the price he paid to set all of us free to love him and to serve him daily.

I first became acquainted with soul winning on my first Great Awakening tour. Little did I know how this would impact my Life and others!!Taking the class “Soul Winning”, with one of the team members from the river church. We were taught how to use the script. This was in the evening. Our class was late… Then we hit the streets!! I looked at my watch and it was 9:30 pm. We headed to an outside mall. In the parking lot was a black biker gang, the team leader said going for it! We went over and started to talk with them. We started to say the script, and a few of them walked away in a circle fashion and came back to my surprise!

They all said the prayer!! Glory to God!! Well you know then I was off! We split up into groups of 2. Everyone I made eye contact with, I talked to. I was getting blown off by a few but it didn’t stop me. All I could see were “SOULS”… After being at the end of my first week, the Lord had used me to lead 300 people to the Lord!!! I flew home and shared with my church that Sunday, their mouths dropped in amazement! You would have thought I told them I had had lunch with the Pope. Well few months later the Lord told me to come to Florida and sit under Pastor Rodney’s ministry. I obeyed and came down. I plugged in rather quickly to the soul winning teams.

Then in May of that year I became a member of the church. I had been helping out on the bus ministry. Working with and in the outreach department. We had to go on the streets daily to get the bus commitments and this also was “GREAT FISHING” for SOULS… I was consumed with how the Lord was using me to impact these communities. Watching the Lord touch his people, right in front of me and being that conduit that he was using. I told them I was just the mail lady delivering the message! I learned that the love of God was beaming out of me! God’s children were drawn to me because of the Lords “Sweet Presence” in me. I cannot do enough to see Gods people come to the Lord. Soul winning is” MY PASSION”, not a program! Everywhere I go I listen to the Holy Spirit.

I look for the lost. I will go anywhere God calls me to preach his word and see the lost saved. I look for every opportunity to lead someone to the Lord. I tell Gods people what God has done in my Life and he wants to do that in yours. When you show them the Love of Jesus, they all want to be loved. Showing them that the devil is a liar. When you except Jesus as you Lord and savior, he comes to live inside of you, he has all the little brushes to clean you up! With Him you will go through the fire and will not smell like smoke!! All I think about all day and night is “SOULS”. Going out into the high ways and by ways to find the lost a lead the too JESUS!!!!! AMEN……..

I was recently able to witness to a man who was already saved. However, he told me that the night before he had been smoking and drinking with some of his old friends from before he was saved. He said he needed prayer because he had to give a presentation in two hours and he said he still felt intoxicated. I was able to pray for him that the Lord would give him a sound mind and be perfectly coherent.

After I prayed, I asked him and he said he was better and had a clear mind! He was able to think clearer and I could tell by looking at him that his demeanor had definitely changed! I was also able to share with him about the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit wanted to come and change him and help him in everything. He was from a church that believed the Holy Spirit is not available to believers anymore.

As I was sharing with with this man, I was telling the man scripture upon scripture of how the Holy Spirit was for all believers and for us today. He did not receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit but I was able to point him to the Word and answer some of his questions and plant the seed into his heart for the baptism in the Holy Spirit. After I was done sharing with him, the man said that I was sent from the Lord to talk to him. He had really needed the prayer and encouragement, and I was glad to have been able to minister to him.

As I walked away from the man, I was amazed at at all the scripture that had come out of my spirit! I did not even realize how much of the Word has been implanted on the inside of me! The only way to find out is to pour out into others!

Greetings to Pastors Rodney & Adonica, I have a testimoney to share with you! I am Dotti J, Jesus has raised me up!! Please let me explain…. what I am going to share with you, Carlos & I have spoken to Eric Gonyan about it several times.I was diagnosed HIV positive 12 years ago. I was in the world then… & it has been a battle that I have been fighting since. The “I” had to go, the battle was not mine to fight! This past few months, God has been dealing with me in ALL areas of my life, even the “hidden’ things. The week of the 10th. of March I got back my blood work, believing for my healing… it was very bad. The blood work said that I was now AIDS… it was devastating. The Doctor then put me on an antibiotic that contained Sulfa, I am highly allergic to Sulfa. The drug had a derivitive of sulfa in it & I did not know this, so I took it for 12 days, by the 12th. day, I was so sick in my body, high fevers, vomiting & other things began to happen. I took a shower, & when I was done I had a terrible rsah break out all over my body.

That night I ended up in the hospital,close to death, in shock. My husband began praying & asked God to spare my life.He called everyone we knew to ask for prayer.. 5 Days later I am home! Also when they did more blood work on me in the Hospital, (the T-Cells were 166, & that means AIDS,) well when the new results came back, my T-Cells were back to HIV at 281, without any HIV drugs taken, JUST GOD TOUCHING ME!! In this past week, God took my affliction & used it to bring me face to face with Him. ALL the fear, all the hidden things that remained, all the anger, all that displeased my Father, I fully surrendered it all to Him! I am falling more & more in love with Jesus & my God. See, He rescued me from physical death, & from spiritual death this past week, & all I can do is Worship, Him & STAY in His presence. Now & only now, can my healing come!!! Now & only now, can I fulfill the calling that He has been burning in me like fire for so long, to be used of Him in these times!! It was spoken over me several times by truely Godly women in my life from the year I was 15 til this present time of being 50!

I know it is time to get more full, & more love, & on fire to do what He has placed in my soul to do! Pastor Rodney, just to let you know… the first time I ever saw you, was at a church on the east coast of Florida, Carlos & I were there with Charles Chambers, Carlos was playing with the worship team,I was in the congregation listining to you. I had never heard the Gospel spoken the way you were speaking, about the FIRE OF GOD! I wanted it so bad! You were passing out CD’S, no, throwing them out to us, & the one about the FIRE came flying straight to me!!! It was just what I needed, & now this is where I am today, because of that day, it was just the beginning!!! I was so full of this testimoney, & I watched the message you preached today at the 8:00 am service, what an annointing that fell!! This is my testimoney to what My Savoir, & My God have done for me! I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NKJV

God has a wonderful plan for you – His most valued and precious creation. He has good plans; plans full of hope; plans for a great future. Man was created with the ability and the right to choose his destiny. Since man was created, the Father has been declaring the truth. To every generation, the Lord makes this clear: there are two choices and two destinies for every man and woman; there is a choice to be made for life and blessing, or a choice to be made for death and cursing. His plan is the good one! God is always truthful with us; we can believe everything He says; He is not capricious; He is not deceptive; He does not play games with us. He means what He says and He says what He means.

Adam had the opportunity to choose life or death, blessing or cursing, just as every one of us has. Through disobedience, Adam made a choice for cursing and death. God only has good plans for us, but because of the fact that Adam sold out to the devil and gave him access into the earth, the devil also has plans for us – bad plans. The devil hates the truth – he doesn’t want us to know his terrible plans for us, because if we really understood what his plans were, we would run away from him and stay away from him. The devil’s main weapon is deception – as long as he can deceive us and keep us in the dark, he can succeed in his evil endeavors. God is always truthful – He is not afraid of the truth. When the truth is revealed, God is always proved right. The truth brings Him glory and honor.

Most people think that life just happens to them; that they have no choice or control over how they end up. While it is true that there are many things that come our way initially that we can’t predict; we can directly positively affect the outcome by making a good choice. By making good choices, we can head off or prevent many of the devil’s evil plans. By choosing the good, we can actually positively influence our future and the future of our children. Choosing life and blessing means actually earning the reward of life and blessing!

Verse 20 says that we can have life and blessing IF we love the Lord, obey His voice and CLING to Him!
The Hebrew word, dabaq (daw-bak’), translated “cling” or “cleave” means: to cling or adhere; to catch by pursuit. It is variously translated as abide fast; cleave (fast together); follow close (hard after); be joined (together); keep (fast); overtake; pursue hard; stick; take. The dictionary says that “cling” or “cleave” means: to adhere closely; to stick to; to hold tight, as by grasping or embracing; to be or remain close; to remain attached; to cohere; to remain emotionally attached; to hold on; to resist separation; to remain faithful. That means – get close, hold on and NEVER let go!

It’s not about receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior and then just coasting along, expecting Him to take full responsibility for your relationship. Even in human relationships, you will fail if you do not work on the relationship and if you leave everything up to the other person. Many Christians go along expecting God to hold onto them; to cling to them; to do everything for them. That is not how it works. WE are the ones who must cling to the Lord! By God’s design, just as it is instinctual for babies – human and animal – to cling to their mother and to stick close by her for provision and safety – so God has designed that we be the ones to chase after Him; to pull in close to Him; to cling to Him and never let go.

Joshua 23:8 AMP – But cling to the Lord your God as you have done to this day.

Joshua 22:5 AMP – But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you: to love the Lord your God and to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments and to cling to and unite with Him and to serve Him with all your heart and soul [your very life].
Psalms 119:30-31a NKJV – I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me. I cling to Your testimonies.

Deuteronomy 10:20-21 AMP – You shall [reverently] fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and by His name and presence you shall swear. 21 He is your praise; He is your God, Who has done for you these great and terrible things which your eyes have seen.

Take responsibility for your life and your blessing; do not be lazy, lackadaisical, or sloppy in your walk with the Father; don’t ever take Him for granted. If you want God’s best in your life, if you want His blessings, you must press in to Him and cling to Him and His word as if your life depends on it – because it does!

I started watching your live service on Oct 13 6pm and Mac Hammond answered some questions I had for a long while in his sermon, then on thurs I watched Fire of God series I watched mon,tues,wed,thurs all at once, and each time the event was over Pastor Rodney would pray for people who were watching, so I just kept watching and getting prayed for at the end of each service’s have a had a deep depression and was very sad which I was use too and just lived with it. I have decided this past week to make this my home church and watch every week and you know my friend said to me there was a darkness over you it is now gone that was just after sun service. Now I am starting to feel joy in my heart, every time Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne prayed I cried and cried all that sadness away. I still feel sad but it’s a little sadness now, not a big sadness’ know have hope. I believe it’s going to all go away and I am going to keep watching and praying. And things will just get better and better. Thank you for having this internet thing I am is happy for this, it saved my life. You have no idea such a blessing. Amen Charlene Arnault

I was watching your program when you were in St. Louis MO, and WOW, the power of God was in that place. I was just speaking to my wife and our best friend of how on the TV you don’t have too many powerful, anointed Men and Women of God. We have been pacified by good messages and “pick your chin up” proclamations, but no Signs, Miracles and Wonders. Then I walk into my bedroom and turn on the GOD network and you are saying exactly what we were just talking about. May God continue to Bless you Both, for gone is the day of lukewarm messages, we need TRUE anointed people on TV to destroy the yokes. God Bless you. Elder Edmond J. Bergeron
